Woodworking
Inventory a manufacturer can trust
Fehr Woodcraft · 2025
The problem
The shop tracked lumber, hardware, and finished stock the way most shops do: a whiteboard, a binder of supplier invoices, and one person’s very good memory. Ordering meant walking the racks; month-end meant typing every invoice into the books.
What we built
An inventory system shaped around how the shop actually buys and builds: products and locations, purchase orders, receiving, and counts. Supplier invoices are parsed automatically, so the line items land in the system without anyone re-typing them, and purchases flow through to QuickBooks on their own.
The result
Ordering happens from real numbers instead of rack-walking, the books get their data without the month-end typing marathon, and stock drift shows up in a count report instead of a mid-build surprise.
